Hi, potential affiliates. Why you may ask, well, the name zero-x and its related domain name was a split-test and it lost to the original product, even though zero-x is 30% better than it predecessor. Go figure. Just wanted to clear that up. I think the success of the original product is due to the fact there are over 30,000 searches a month under our keywords and little or no competition using those keywords in our website title ( now 35,652 searches per month and our
sales continue to increase as the summer approaches).

"Physical Activity Is not The Key to Weight Loss"

A 2008 University study  confirms that the number of calories burned during exercise  is NOT a key factor in weight loss. For decades we all have been lead to believe that in order to lose weight we must exercise, science says otherwise.

In fact, in a  study done in 2008 by several  prestigious universities working in collaboration were able to conclude that   there was no association between weight gain and calories burned during physical activity.

Exercise  has many proven benefits. It strengthens muscles, tendons and bones, improves brain health, lowers blood pressure, lowers and improves cholesterol levels and reduces the risk of cancer, cardiovascular disease and even  diabetes. So many that the  U.S. government  state that adults need at least 2½ hours of moderate aerobic activity  or 75 minutes of vigorous activity  a week.

University studies, however, suggests that weight loss is not one of  those main benefits.According to Richard Cooper, PhD, one of the doctors who was involved in the study says that  we burn more calories when we exercise, but then we compensate by eating more and that  it does not appear that physical activity has a positive effect on weight control.

As a long time weight lifter, I had my share of "fat" weight gain  during my many bulking-up cycles, but through research and trial and error I mastered the art of stripping off the fat without doing any exercise during my vacations. In fact, it due to my lower calorie intake and healthy eating that allowed me to strip off the fat during my "heavy lifting layoffs"and I've had dozens of clients who lost an average of 20-30lbs without doing 1 single sit-up.

The body follows certain physiological rules, if you lift weights you get muscular and stronger; run and you'll develop endurance, losing fat is no different, eat the right way and the body will tap into it's fat stores and you'll begin to burn fat all day long. Finally, one of the university doctors went so far as to say that without dietary restraint weight loss is NOT likely to occur.

When I hear people complaining how they can't lose weight even though they are in the gym 7 days a week, I get mad. I get mad, because they have been brain-washed into believing that in order to burn fat they must kill themselves doing exercise. The fact is, in  2008 a study confirmed that calorie intake is more important with respect to weight loss that the amount of calories  burned during exercise. 

Exercise has many benefits, according to one of the doctors in the study, but is not a key component in a weight loss program. To lose one pound of fat it takes hours and hours of exercise because one pound is equal to 3,500 calories and doing aerobics for hours only burns a few hundred calories!

Instead of listening to hearsay, look to science. If science can send a rover to mars, we can't figure a better way to burn fat? We must exercise to lose weight is absolutely not true and science confirmed it. The above mentioned study was done by several universities working together and they concluded there was no direct correlation between weight loss and the amount calories burned during exercise.

Science has clearly agreed that calorie restriction is superior to exercise when it comes to weight loss. True, exercise plus diet is the best combo, but you don't need exercise to lose weight. University studies prove it and Scientific America agrees. Exercise is not bad, during my bulking phases I ate tons of calories and worked out everyday. But during my breaks I would go on vacation and eat less calories , yet healthy and the fat would just fall off. You just don't need to exercise to lose weight. Not everyone likes exercise or has the time and money to join a gym.

But science has come to rescue us by proving us with a way out, a way to flip that fat burning switch and shrink those fat cells forever. And you can do it with the knowledge that it's backed up by solid science. Scientific America and university studies both clearly agree that  the amount  of calories restricted is much more important than the amount of calories burned during exercise, and so exercise  is NOT believed to be a critical factor for weight loss nor is it one of the main benefit of exercise.

As a 20 year weight lifting veteran I have used science to add muscle and improve my strength, and when I needed it, I was able to apply science to lose weight without exercise.

Science like the fact, that a common belief that the number of calories burned during exercise is a key factor in weight gain is false. In other words, a lack of exercise is not the cause of obesity. And this was proven by a study done in 2008 by a group of very well known universities around the world.

To build muscle mass and strength I needed to eat a lot of calories and because of that I would gain some body fat during these bulking-up phases. During my lay-offs, however, friends and family would be shocked that come back lean and cut despite 14 days  of vacation, consisting of healthy foods and  absolutely zero exercise.

Once you understand the basics of fat loss process, you'll start burning fat 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For example, most people believe if we exercise we'll lose weight, but it's not true. According to Dr. Richard Cooper we burn more calories when we exercise, but then we over- compensate and eat more. He also went onto to say that it does not look like exercise has a positive effect on weight loss.

In fact, according to Dr.Luke, another  doctor involved in that  study with by Dr.Cooper says that there's enough evidence to show that calorie intake with regard to weight loss may be more important than energy expenditure level and that weight loss without calorie restriction most likely won't be effective.

Ever wonder if you could lose weight without exercise and is there scientific evidence to back it up The answer is yes. In 2004, scientific America said that  the best way to prevent obesity is to limit  total calorie intake. They never said exercise.

Drug free bodybuilders are a prime example of why exercise only works for some. The more muscle you have the more calories your body burns at rest. And when you exercise those muscles, they will
burn even more calories.

However, if your muscle mass is small and you have more fat tissue exercise won't burn that much fat, as fat tissue does'nt do any work during exercise. You'll will have to exercise for several hours
a day like in the reality TV show " the biggest loser you'll lose weight, in order to get the muscles you have to burn sufficient calories by ramping  up your metabolism and elicit a fat burning response.
 

For some, exercise equals fat weight gain. According to a 2008 joint university study - when we exercise we do burn calories, but then we compensate ourselves by eating more food which equals
extra calories that  lead to fat weight gain. Researchers also noted that the subjects that were bigger and heavier ate more fats and refined/processed foods.

 This clearly indicates that while weight loss or weight gain comes down to the amount of calories consumed versus the amount of calories expended, the source of those calories plays a vital role in the weight loss process.

In another study, subjects were divided into 2 groups:1. Subjects ate  25% less calories 2. Subjects only ate 12.5% less calories but added exercise in their daily routine. Both group subjects had the same calorie deficit and lost approximately 10% body fat tissue.

So despite exercise, as long as the calorie deficit was equal so was the weight loss. So calorie intake is the prime driver for weight loss not energy expenditure or exercise.

In short, not everyone has the time or funds to go to a gym, nor do we don't have to workout to burn fat as creating a calorie deficit is the most factor in weight loss.

For over 2 decades we have been told that in order to lose weight we must exercise. While it's true that exercise strengthens our muscles, bones, heart and lungs you don't need to exercise to lose weight. And exercise may actually make you fat!

According to a  2008 university study one researcher said that, while people do burn calories when they exercise, but then they reward themselves by eating more. And this leads to fat weight gain.

In fact, in an issue of Scientific America 2004, they said that calorie reduction is the best way to prevent obesity. Calorie restriction, not exercise!  So despite all their data, they never once mentioned that exercise was a part of the weight loss equation.

In another study, subjects who ate 25% less but didn't exercise lost the same amount of weight as those who ate 12.5 % less and did exercise? Even thought the calorie deficit was equal in both groups one would expect that the plus exercise group would lose more weight, but they didn't.

The question is, how can this be? The fact is, the more muscle you have the greater the fat burning effect of exercise, the more fat you have the less effective exercise is for burning fat.

Why? Muscles burn calories and continue to burn calories long after the workout is over, so the more muscle mass you have to begin with, the greater the fat burning effect. On the other hand, fat does no work during exercise so if your bodyfat percentage or BMI is very high then calorie restriction is the best way to lose weight.

While weight loss or weight gain comes down to basically the amount of calories, the source of those calories also plays a vital role as evidenced by the 2008 university study; those subjects that  were heavier actually ate mainly simple or bad carbohydrates and processed foods.
